La magia de las canciones: Never enough (Epica)

Continuando con mi "fiebre metalera" hoy publico la letra de Never enough, de Epica una banda holandesa formada por uno de los ex-integrantes de After Forever (otra banda que amo, simplemente) y que ha pasado por varios cambios en su alineación, aunque todos han sido para bien, como lo demuestra la elección de la hermosísima Simone Simons como sustituta de Helena Michaelsen.
En resumen, la tipa (a mi muy heterosexual modo de ver, a pesar de que muchos por mis cuentos me creen lesbiana) es un espectáculo de mujer. Tiene un cabello rojo y una cara y figura que imagino a más de uno ha hecho "derramarse" en su cama de noche. Es ideal para situarla en algún cuento sobrenatural y lleno de hadas y gnomos, pero lo que me ocupa aquí es la fuerza que proyecta en su voz, una mezzosoprano con todos los hierros quien tiene la fabulosa capacidad de transportar a quien la escucha a lugares insospechados.
En Never enough Simone demuestra el por qué es una de las cantantes líricas y de metal más respetadas del mundo. Los últimos 10 segundos de la canción son el clímax perfecto para una canción poderosa y única. Si tienen oportunidad de escucharla alguna vez, háganlo, no se arrepentirán.
